HEALTHY
HALLOWEEN is a ground breaking educational/
communities initiative that fights childhood
diabetes and obesity through art and fun. Working
with schools and community groups, Healthy Halloween
stresses the creative aspects of the holiday
expanding the vision of Trick or Treat beyond
candy.
Halloween
is the most creative holiday. It is spooky,
silly, funny and imaginative... It brings families
and communities closer together, helps people
discover their inner artist and provides activities
that build bridges... For many, it is a gateway
to regular creativity with interest growing internationally.
HEALTHY
HALLOWEEN
launches on October 1st in 35 high schools in
NYC and beyond with the art works created in
these schools to be displayed/ performed at
the TOMPKINS
SCARE PARK Halloween
Festival on Saturday, October 27th, 2007
in Tompkins Square Park, East Village NYC, 7th
street and Avenue A. 12 noon-8pm.
